曾代表上海交通大学参与美国地面数字电视传输标准ATSC3.0的技术争夺，提出的多项编码调制技术被ATSC3.0标准采纳；参与3GPP 5G标准的技术争夺，累积向3GPP提交50多篇标准提案，多项提案被写入5G标准文档；此外他的多项技术进入了中国标准，如：HINOC2.0标准、下一代无线广播NGB-W标准和星闪标准。共授权了60多项国家发明专利和13项国际发明专利池，多项进入标准专利池。

主持多项国家级、省部级、重点企业合作项目，包括国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年项目，以及国家重点研发计划课题、子课题，上海市自然科学基金，华为校企合作项目、阿里巴巴平头哥校企合作项目等等。获2020年度上海市科技进步一等奖，2021年中国电影电视技术协会科技进步二等奖等荣誉。指导本科生参与并获得2016谷歌android全国大学生移动互联网创业挑战赛总决赛冠军。担任电子信息与电气工程学院本科班班主任，2020年获优秀班主任称号。

目前招收面向5G/6G、广播、短距等宽带智能通信的博士生，硕士生。

Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor (Cooperative Media-net Innovation Centre, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University). Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2009 from the Intensive Class (Chien-Shiung Wu College) at Southeast University, and subsequently was admitted to Shanghai Jiao Tong University exempt from examination. Earned a Master's degree in 2011 (during which he pursued a research visit to McGill University in Canada) and completed his Ph.D. in 2015, receiving the title of Outstanding Graduate (while serving as a researcher at the National Digital Television Research Center and being honored with the annual highest recognition, the General Manager's Award). 

His primary research focuses on the theoretical, technical development, prototype construction, and standardization of 5G/6G, broadcasting, satellite, short-range broadband multimedia communication, with a complementary approach to optimizing systems using artificial intelligence. He has published over 100 academic papers in international journals and conferences, with more than 20 authoritative journal publications as the first or corresponding author. He has been awarded the IEEE 2021 BMSB Best Paper Award, as well as the IEEE 2020 and 2022 IWCMC Best Paper Awards. He has been invited to participate in various roles in multiple IEEE international conferences and forums (such as GLOBECOM, IWCMC, and BMSB), including serving as a TPC member, co-chair, session chair, and keynote speaker. Additionally, he holds a guest editorial position at IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting. 

He has represented Shanghai Jiao Tong University in competing for technical contributions to the ATSC 3.0 digital TV transmission standard in the United States, and several of his proposed coding and modulation technologies were adopted into the ATSC 3.0 standard. He has also participated in the 3GPP 5G standard competition, submitting over 50 standard proposals to 3GPP, with many of them being incorporated into the 5G standard documents. Moreover, several of his technologies have become part of Chinese standards, including the HINOC 2.0 standard, Next Generation Broadcasting NGB-W standard, and SparkLink standard. He holds over 60 national invention patents and 13 international invention patents, with several of them being identified as ‘Standard Essential Patent’.

He has led multiple national, provincial, and key enterprise collaboration projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (both general and youth programs), National key research and development projects (including topic and sub-topics), Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, projects in collaboration with Huawei and Alibaba, and others. He received the first prize for Shanghai Science and Technology Progress in 2020 and the second prize from the China Association of Film and Television Technology in 2021, among other honors. He guided undergraduate students to participate and win the championship in the 2016 Google Android National University Mobile Internet Entrepreneurship Challenge. He also serves as the class advisor for the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering and was awarded the title of Outstanding Class Advisor in 2020. 

Currently, he is recruiting Ph.D. and master's students in the fields of 5G/6G, broadcasting, and short-range broadband intelligent communication.
